[Trot Maestros Raejun and Yangyang Take Stage in Manila]
The project group Raejun & Yangyang will be performing at Manila’s premier shopping mall, Robinsons Novaliches for a Pre- Valentines Concert. Both musicians are renowned in South Korea for their exceptional talents, they bring a unique blend of original compositions, showcasing their vibrant presence in the music scene in South Korea.
Raejun, not just a powerhouse singer but also the president of the Korean Vocal Trainer Association and a current professor at Incheon JEI University. As a singer and composer, he has contributed to drama soundtracks and chart-topping hits positioning him as a versatile artist with an impressive musical portfolio.
Yangyang, a traditional trot singer, has embarked on global expansion to make a mark internationally as the first trot singer. With four visits dedicated to immersing in Filipino culture, she has emerged as a rising star on local broadcasts. Additionally, Lily Kim, a vocalist and saxophonist associated with the German Albert Weber saxophone brand is performing as a guest artist. She has actively participated in recording sessions and performances with various artists in South Korea, making her as a rising global artist in the next generation of saxophonists.
Angelica Jung, a Filipino actress featured in the music video for Raejun & Yangyang’s Philippine hit “Pusong Bato,” has become a rising star in South Korea, showcasing her talents in dramas, movies, and tv reporting. Notably, she gained significant attention for portraying Imee Marcos in a documentary about the life of Marcos Bongbong focusing on the story of President Marcos, produced by MBC, one of the biggest Korean public broadcasters.
On February 3, 2024, the stage will be set for a performance as part of the Korean Women’s Association in the Philippines(KWA)’s event. Raejun & Yangyang, Lily Kim, and Angelica Jung will present a show during the “Seollal, Lunar New Year Rice Cake Feast,” hosted by Minjeong Park, the president of KWA who recognized Raejun & Yangyang’s talents during the KWA’s regular meeting in March 2023.
More Events are being readied by Mr. Yongbae Jung of M Entertainment Korea’s local partner, Mr. Michael “MIKO” V. Villanueva of The M.V.V. Entertainment and Productions, Inc. for Raejun & YangYang as part of The Philippines ~ Korea Friendship Campaign that will further boost our country’s’ economy and tourism.

A Major Concert at Robinsons Novaliches. These events planned to share words of blessings and bring joy, is expected to set a positive precedent and contribute to a happy 2024 for everyone, the event organizer said.
